Post-Fair

Hello All,

The Wilmore Arts and Craft Fair went well. Though profits were a bit less this year than last the increase in my artistic confidence has more than made up for it. I have also had 15+ commissions as a result of participating in the event. I look so forward to working on those. I'll post pics as soon as I get through creating the pieces. Thanks to everyone who visited the booth. I appreciate your business but more importantly I appreciate your kind and encouraging words!
Thanks also to Charley, my crafting coworker and Carissa, my always helpful roomie.

Here are some pics to enjoy.
Happy Thursday!
Jenny

New Items for Craft Fair

I thought maybe I could post these in some sort of album but couldn't figure out how to do that so here they are right on the blog. These are 27 out of my inventory of 37. Four are posted on an earlier entry and the rest are things that didn't sell last year. Maybe this time those six will make it off the Island of Misfit Toys. :) All are polymer except three acrylic paintings on cardboard. I threw them in to add some height to my display table. The acorn just below is an actual acorn that I picked up out at Shaker Village. I was gathering them up for my aunt (she decided to use some for a Thanksgiving centerpiece) when I had a moment of inspiration. He's my favorite of the bunch, with the circus elephant and vine holding, banana eating monkey at a close 2nd and 3rd. I hope you enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed making the figurines!

Blessings-
Jenny :)

37...50...Who's counting?!?

On the count of three...Hip, Hip...(You know the rest!) HOORAY! Tomorrow is the day!

Tomorrow, October 3rd, marks Wilmore's Eleventh Annual Arts and Crafts Festival. This will be my second year participating. I'm really excited for my sophomore experience. The weather should be crisp and clear, sunny all day. I can't wait to breathe in 8 hours of fresh, Fall, Kentucky air. This year I'm teaming up with a friend, Charley Harold, sharing a table in hopes for crossover customers. ch designs is the name of her business. She's a speciality seamstress focusing her talents primarily on baby gifts. Very cool! Come buy some for baby shower presents!

I set out to make 50 items for the sale but, alas, only hit 37 for my total. On the up side, it is one more than last year! I'm happy with what I have to offer and am hoping to make a few people smile as they pass by and a few bucks profit wouldn't hurt much either. ;)

I'm working on figuring out how to post a bunch of pics of my inventory so look for those very soon!

Peace-
Jenny
